One fun thing my husband absolutely loves to do is shed hunt. (For those of you who may not know, shed hunting if when you go look for antlers that have fallen of deer, elk, etc. Don’t worry if you don’t, I didn’t either before we met.) Even if you’re not a big into hunting, shed hunting is fun just because you get to be outside and get to see the big outdoors. If you’re lucky, you may even find an antler or two.
To shed hunt in Utah between Feb and April 15th every year, you need to get a license from Utah Department of Wildlife Resources. Other times of the year you don’t need a license. Also please be respectful of private property, closed areas, and wildlife. Don’t trespass or harass animals.
