Sego Canyon Petroglyphs – Grand County, UT

There are so many petroglyphs in and near Moab. These petroglyphs are one of the bigger ones I have seen, and with paint on the pictographs that is still bright and bold.  Please be respectful of those that are located on private property and don’t climb over any fences.

Directions:

Take exit 187 and go north for about 3 miles. After you cross the railroad tracks, ther is a pullout on the left hand side for restrooms and for the petroglyphs. There are a ton of petroglyphs and pictographs in this area, some being really high and really large, so be on the lookout and carry a set of binoculars for those that are a little farther away.
