The Southern Utah Museum of Art is one of the newest attractions in Southern Utah, located on the Beverly Taylor Sorenson Center for the Arts. It has five gallery spaces that regularly rotate between different exhibits every month or so. It is also a permanent house for a collection of Jimmie Jones, a local artist who painted landscapes of Southern Utah. There are docents who are more than willing to show one around the museum and they provide back ground information about the exhibit and the building.
On Mondays, they offer Family Arts Night Series where families can come together through creating visual arts, theater, and dance. This series is from 6pm-7pm and is open and free to the public.
The Southern Utah Museum of Art is located on 13 S 300 W.
Fall and Spring: Tuesday – Saturday 12:00pm-6:00pm
